There's a man, he has the gentlest bluest eyes you ever imagined. There's a girl, a vivid gorgeous monkey of a child with those same blue eyes and a pirate's heart. There are books and stories and oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips in. There are soap bubbles and silly movies and songs through the headphones about the birth and death of love. It's a small life, but it is mine.
